Day Dreams
Watching the bright and flickering candle light
my tingling, tenderly thoughts look back remembering our last date
I now know there is something missing
loney, cheerless, gloomy, joyless
Woof, woof – I started out of my dreams.
The dog’s noise outside on the street disturbed the silence.
Forgotten the dream, life has to go on – I hope time flies.
I have got so much to do, need to repare the washing machine, clean the stove,
the last meal had burned in the oven, the kitchen needs fresh air.
But I don’t want to stay here – outside in the park it is fall I want to go there.
Everlasting emotions, overwhelming endless affection,
nature gives me strength – I can love without feeling sad
Collecting colorful leaves that cover the ground in fall I return back home.

Dieses Sonett hab ich vor einigen Jahren geschrieben… es war mal ein Versuch an der Uni.
